New Delhi: Central public sector enterprises recorded a 23 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 32,144 crore during 2002-03, largely on account of strong performance by oil and power companies.

Public Enterprises Survey 2002-03, released by the Government today (June 9, 2004), said the turnover of 240 undertakings increased to Rs 5,44,000 crore from Rs 4,78,000 crore, registering a growth of 13.7 per cent.
