Sensex snaps 3-day gaining streak, down by 88 pts
Share prices snapped three-day gaining streak and turned distinctly weak with the Sensex tumbling down by 87.72 points to close at 5,669.58 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today (May 7, 2004) following lack of follow-up support as well as sustained profit-selling by foreign and domestic funds.

The wife of former Enron chief financial officer (CFO) Andrew S Fastow was sentenced to one-year jail after she pleaded guilty to help her husband hide ill-gotten income from some of his myriad financial schemes.
