Friday, April 30 2004 09:07 Hrs (IST)

New Delhi: vCustomer, a US-based global provider of BPO (business process outsourcing), contact centre and technical support services, announced it has got ISO 9001:2000 certification for all its processes.

"Obtaining the certification shows vCustomer's end-to-end internal processes, including service provision, people management, infrastructure and products are consistent and meet the evolving customer requirements," Sujit Baksi, president of vCustomer, said.

The audit was conducted by DQS BQR Inc, a management system certification firm.

The certification recognises vCustomer's aim to enhance customer satisfaction through effective application of its quality management system, including continuous improvement of the system.

"The company has always been committed to deliver high-quality services and products through internal quality management system processes. This ISO certification is an important step in our aim to provide new levels of customer satisfaction," Baksi said.

Rajendra Khare, managing director, DQS BQR India, said, "The certification helps both at the macro and micro levels. While it acts as an entry point for global bids, within the company it helps in reducing errors, in call time and resolution time."
