'Bandwidth pricing is a bubble waiting to burst'
With over five submarine cables and eight landing stations in India, bandwidth pricing is the next "bubble" and will have the same plight of dotcoms that burst by mid-2000, according to France Telecom vice-president (Asia) Jean-Francois Thomas.

Sensex nosedives by 179.74 pts on late sell off
A virtual meltdown in share values sent the benchmark crumbling down by a whopping 179.74 points to close at 5,520.66 at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today (Mar 15, 2004), pulled down by frenzied selling towards the fag end of business, despite a positive start.

ONGC offer price at Rs 750, to mop up Rs 10, 500 cr
Government today (Mar 15, 2004) announced a selling price of Rs 750 per share for public offer of 14.26 crore shares in Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) where retail investors would get allotment at Rs 712.5 per share, Disinvestment Minister Arun Shourie told reporters in New Delhi.
