Healthcare BPO services firm Cbay Systems Ltd today (Mar 11, 2004) said it plans to hire over 7,500 medical transcriptionists (MT) in India by the end of 2005.
"The company has set an ambitious target to become a $ 100 million firm by the end of 2005, with an estimated manpower of 10,000 medical transcriptionists in India," Cbay Systems President Donald Conover said in a statement in Bangalore.
CBay, with its Indian headquarters in Mumbai, has a total staff strength of 1,200 both in its Indian and US offices apart from 2,500 people on the rolls of its 38 production centres spread across the country.
"CBay has been growing consistently at the rate of 75 per cent annually for the last four years. Its current revenues are $ 33 million," he said.
Meanwhile, Cbay, which has about 150 Medical transcriptionists at two centres in Bangalore moved to a new location.
