Mumbai: Keeping with the growth momentum, the Indian economy grew by 8.9 per cent in the third quarter ended December 2003, Union Finance Minister Jaswant Singh said today (Feb 19, 2004).

Speaking at the Electrolux-Financial Express awards function in Mumbai, Singh said, "It is a remarkable achievement".
