Cement, Bank shares in limelight, Sensex up by 17 pts
Rally in cement and select banking shares helped the Sensex to stretch gains for the fourth successive session and the index ended up by 17.26 points at 5949.78 at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today (Feb 11, 2004) on selective buying by institutional investors as well as operators.

Cairn to invest $100-150 mn in Rajasthan oil find
British energy firm Cairn Energy Plc will invest $ 100 to $ 150 million in bringing to production the recent oil discovery in the Thar desert in Rajasthan, billed as India's largest on-land oil discovery in two decades.
