Corio Inc to expand its workforce in Bangalore
Tuesday, January 27 2004 18:11 Hrs (IST)

Bangalore: US-based enterprise application service provider Corio Inc today (Jan 27, 2004) said it aims to expand its workforce at its India centre in Bangalore to over 100 in the next few months.

"We will be crossing the 100 mark shortly," Corio Chairman and CEO George Kadifa told reporters in Bangalore.

Stating that Corio was following the 24x7 model through its Indian operations, he said Corio is focused on fundamental redefinition of the economics of IT services by building an IT factory enabled by automations, self-service and knowledge re-use.

Corio, which set up operations six months ago, has a workforce of about 65 professionals at its development centre. Kadifa said, "We would grow the Indian operations in coming quarters to service its global customers and also explore market opportunities in India."
