Trilogy to invest Rs 200 cr in Bangalore centre

Bangalore: American-based Trilogy E-Business Software today (Nov 24) announced it would invest $ 45 million (Rs 200 crore) in its Research & Development centre in Bangalore over the next three years, and add 175 people by next year.

The privately-held $ 100 million Trilogy will shift its core product development work to India, Trilogy India Managing Director Chinnikrishna Kommi told reporters.

Trilogy India which started operations two years ago, he said, presently has about 75 professionals developing industry-specific enterprise software for the automotive, computer hardware and insurance industries.

Trilogy has about 400 professionals globally and plans to touch over 250 in India by next year.

Kommi said the investment of Rs 200 crore would be made in R&D, product development, human resources, marketing and support among others.
