Datamatics to acquire 2 more BPO companies in US
Monday, November 10 2003 11:37 Hrs (IST)

Mumbai: Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) major Datamatics Ltd, which completed the acquisition of US-based start-up firm White Label LLC, is planning to acquire two more US companies, for which it is ready to shell out around $10-40 million.

"We are looking at acquiring small firms with an adequate presence and staff in the BPO segment, which will help in consolidating our presence in the US," Datamatics Ltd managing director Rahul Kanodia told reporters in Mumbai.

The company expects the proposed acquisition plans to help in accelerating its BPO operations, apart from its sales and marketing activities in the US, he said.

However, Kanodia did not divulge the names of the companies, citing a non-disclosure agreement, even as he added "no deals have been finalised yet".

Meanwhile, the city-based BPO firm has completed the acquisition of US-based start-up firm White Label LLC while Kanodia and president Pradeep Sen have been appointed as the new company's directors.

Datamatics had earlier announced the acquisition of White Label, a technology solutions platform provider, for $10 million.
