Vajpayee projects 7 % economic growth this year
London: Affirming his Government's commitment to continuing economic reforms, an upbeat Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has said India's macro-economic fundamentals have never been better and projected a high seven per cent economic growth this year.

SBI cuts deposits rates by 0.25 to 0.5 per cent
Mumbai: State Bank of India (SBI) has cut its interest rates on domestic term deposits by 0.25 to 0.5 per cent across all maturities with effect from November 10, in a bid to align their rates with other banking entities.
