NATIONAL Finance Ministry approves 23 FDI proposals
New Delhi: The government has approved 23 foreign direct investment (FDI) proposals involving Rs 492 crore FDI inflow, including the Rs 460 crore plan of Shell Gas BV to set up a 100 per cent subsidiary in India to market transportation fuels.

ONGC, GAIL to share LPG, kerosene subsidy
New Delhi: The Rs 8,200 crore loss from not increasing domestic cooking gas (LPG) and kerosene prices despite rise in cost will partly be borne by upstream firms Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL) and partly recovered from selling petrol and diesel above the cost, Petroleum Minister Ram Naik said on October 28.
