Contact centre management experts to visit India
Friday, October 17 2003 14:01 Hrs (IST)

Bangalore: Global practitioners from LimeBridge, an alliance of CRM consulting firms from 10 countries, are visiting India for the first time next month to share expertise in contact centre management and its applicability in the Indian context, a key organising official said on October 17.

The global practitioners are gathering in Bangalore on November 11 for "LimeBridge Contact 2003 - Global Practitioners' Perspectives on Contact Centre Management", which is the third such event after the ones in the US and Japan.

The event aims to provide a platform to share global best practices, methodologies and experiences to benefit clients and their customers, according to M D Ramaswami, CEO (chief executive officer) of Bangalore-based Celtycs, the Indian alliance partner of LimeBridge, operating in the contact centre management space.

Ramaswami said the conference would offer two tracks that provide an "outside-in" perspective on customer expectations from Indian contact centres and an "inside-out" perspective on service delivery to meet global customer expectations.

He said some of the key speakers would be Bill Price, first Vice-President of Global Customer Services for Amazon, and Lynne Kenworthy, founder of services enterprise for Cable and Wireless.

Delegates would get a chance to both hear and discuss solutions to their problems from thought leaders who have solved similar problems across the globe, he said.
