Bangalore: SupportSoft, a leading provider of service and support automation and endpoint
management software for corporate enterprises and broadband service providers, plans to establish a
100 per cent STP subsidiary in India, a top company executive said.
The company, which would have its office in Bangalore by the end of October, plans to hire 100 people
over the years, SupportSoft Country Manager Craig Chatterton told reporters.
He said they would transfer two products to India by the month-end.
Chatterton said SupportSoft recorded a 33 per cent jump in its revenues worldwide in Q2 of 2003
compared with the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company had 180-plus customers, including 25 per cent of the Fortune 50, 7 of top 9 US
broadband service providers and six leading US outsourcers as partners.
