IOC suggests two billion Dollar public issue
New Delhi: The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) on October 7 suggested a mega overseas public issue of two billion Dollars or acquisition of government stake in HPCL (Hindustan petroleum Corporation Limited) to avoid a split in its retail business as proposed by the Ministry of Disinvestment.

Divestment Ministry to accost Oil Ministry on IOC
New Delhi: Armed with the mandate of the Cabinet Committee on Disinvestment (CCD) to explore possibility of 'disinvesting marketing arm of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC)', the Disinvestment Ministry will approach Petroleum Ministry in a day or two for a follow up action to meet 3-month deadline.
