NATIONAL Cabinet clears proposal for National Tax Tribunal
New Delhi: The government on October 3 cleared the long-awaited proposal to set up a National Tax Tribunal to reduce the burden of pending cases in High Courts and to ensure uniformity in administration of tax laws.

New Delhi: The technology-driven futures trading in gold and silver will fulfil its objectives only if poor farmers and small gold-smiths benefit from it, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister Sharad Yadav said in New Delhi on October 3.
