New Delhi: LEGATO Systems, Inc (NASDAQ:LGTO), a worldwide leader in enterprise storage management software solutions and services for Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), on September 15 announced it has signed an agreement with IBM which enables IBM to sell LEGATO's industry- leading messaging products, EmailXtender®, EmailXaminer® and DiskXtender 2000®.

The agreement provides IBM customers and business partners with immediate access to the industry's leading solutions for efficiently routing, storing and retrieving electronic mail information.

IBM will resell LEGATO email offerings as part of a solution for providing comprehensive data storage and retrieval for enterprise email. The solution uses EmailXtender family products and will be available for Lotus Notes/Domino and Microsoft® Exchange/Outlook customers.
