Coimbatore: The 3rd edition of "Connect", being organised by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), in partnership with Tamil Nadu government, with the objective of showcasing the state's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) would be held in Chennai on September 18.

"Connect-2003", would present a glimpse of the manifold dimensions and ICT strengths of Tamil Nadu and showcase business opportunities across the entire ICT spectrum, a CII release said on September 13.

The business process outsourcing (BPO) conference on that day would focus on the emerging opportunities for Indian companies, with specific reference to Tamil Nadu as an emerging BPO hub, it said.

The target audience would include existing BPO players, software companies, state governments, consultants, venture capitalists, banking, finance, insurance, healthcare companies and service providers, the release added.
