Bangalore: Bangalore will play host to a summit on outsourcing, the Indian Chapter of the highly
acclaimed "Outsourcing World Summit Series", focussing on India-sensitive issues for two days from
October 15.
The summit, held for the first time in India, would be hosted by the Software Technology Parks of India
(STPI) and would bring together international companies, Indian service providers, thought leaders and
legal experts and analysts.
The event would focus on India-sensitive topics such as Selling Outsourcing Offshore, Brand and
Marketing Presence and Legal and Contractual issues, a statement by the summit organisers said.
"The 2003 India Outsourcing Summit" would see the presence of over 30 international delegates, many
of whom would also be touring and visiting organisations across the country, it said.
The summit is produced by Michael F Corbett and Associates Ltd, a leading authority on outsourcing
and organisers of the Outsourcing World Summit Conference Series, in association with Trade Fairs
and Conferences International (TFCI) and Fortune Custom Projects and supported by NASSCOM
(National Association of Software and Service Companies), the statement added.
