Telecom row: Shourie for unification of licenses
New Delhi: In the wake of a 2:1 judgement given by Telecom Dispute Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) on August 8 allowing Wireless in Local Loop (WLL) mobile services, Communication Minister Arun Shourie said that "unification of licenses will ultimately resolve the issue once and for all".

TDSAT dismisses cellular operators' plea on WLL
New Delhi: The Telecom Dispute Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) on August 8, by a majority judgement of 2:1, dismissed the petition filed by cellular operators challenging government's decision to allow WLL (Wireless in Local Loop) mobile services as part of the basic telecom services licence.
