Bull-run gains momentum at BSE; SENSEX up by 58 pts
Mumbai: Euphoria over the impressive corporate earnings, drove the benchmark to a nearly 26-month closing high of 3726.46 at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on July 25, as the bull-run gathered further momentum with yet another sharp rise of 58.39 points on heavy broad-based buying.

CII revises GDP growth to 7 pc due to good monsoon
Chennai: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has revised its projection of the gross domestic product (GDP) growth this fiscal from 6.5 per cent to seven per cent, on account of "the so far excellent growth pattern of the monsoon".

FDI inflow lower in 2002-03: Jaitley
New Delhi: Foreign direct investment (FDI) inflow in 2002-03 was estimated at $ 2.57 billion compared with $ 3.9 billion the previous year, Commerce Minister Arun Jaitley informed Lok Sabha on July 25.

US firms to move 3.3 mn jobs abroad by 2015
Washington: Under increasing pressure to cut costs and build global networks, American corporate giants are planning to move about 3.3 million jobs, including highly-paid white-collar ones, to countries including India by 2015.
