NATIONAL BSE: Frontline IT shares suffer sharp setback
Mumbai: After a sharp overnight rally, frontline IT shares suffered a setback, almost preventing the SENSEX's upward march on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on July 11 as a result of heavy selling by domestic funds.
'IPO of CMC, VSNL, Balco, IBP and IPCL in 6 months'
Kolkata: Union Disinvestment Minister Arun Shourie on July 11 said the initial public offering (IPO) for reducing the government's existing stake in five companies – Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (VSNL), Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd (BALCO), Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (IPCL), Computer Maintenance Corporation (CMC) and Indo-British Petroleum (IBP) – might come within next six months.
