Govt to sell its residual shares in five PSUs

New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Disinvestment on July 10 agreed to sell government's residual shares in five public sector undertakings (PSUs) including VSNL, CMC and IPCL, Union Minister for Disinvestment Arun Shourie said.

"The CCD has agreed to sell government's residual shareholding in five companies - VSNL, CMC, IPCL, IBP and Balco. These were privatised in the recent past through strategic sale," Shourie told reporters after the CCD meet.
