Renaissance Tech subsidiary foray into Fibre Channel

Bangalore: Renaissance Softech, the technology subsidiary of the Renaissance group and the Master Reseller for Brocade in India on July 1 announced its foray into Fibre Channel and storage infrastructure solutions.

Renaissance will design and build the highest performance Fibre Channel connectivity solutions for enterprise and workgroup environments. This will help organisations maximise productivity and profitability through improved technical consultancy and expertise in the areas of Storage Area Networking (SAN), a company statement said.

Fibre Channel is a scalable, high-performance interconnect standard that enables fast transfer of data between workstations, shared storage, peripherals and host systems. Fibre based network storage offers speed of gigabits per second and provides enterprises new levels of performance and reliability, it said.
