Subex bags coveted Romanian GSM operator order
Monday, June 30 2003 16:41 Hrs (IST)

Bangalore: Bangalore-based telecom software products company Subex Systems on June 30 announced it has won a major order from Connex, the leading GSM operator in Romania, to deploy its revenue assurance solution, INcharge.

A company release said INcharge is a part of the RevMax revenue maximisation suite, adding, the firm's flagship product, Ranger fraud management system, was recently deployed in Connex's network.

The company said INcharge has flexible modules that are designed to identify and quantify issues such as unbilled or incorrectly billed usage, discrepancies between multiple OSS, erroneous system configurations and set-up, in order to provide carriers with an overall view into the revenue leaks that are occurring within the network.

Connex is the trademark of Mobifon, the company that launched the first GSM network in Romania in 1997, and it leads the mobile communications market in Romania with over 2.6 million GSM customers, the release said.
