Vijoy Kumar assumes charge as chairman, MD of ITI

Bangalore: Vijoy Kumar has assumed charge as chairman and managing director of Indian Telephone Industries (ITI), the country's largest telecom equipment company.

This is in addition to his current position as deputy director general (production, investment policy and promotion) in the Department of Telecommunications under the Union Ministry of Communications and IT, a company release said.
