Chennai: An 11-member mission of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) (Southern region) is visiting Sri Lanka from March 27 to 31 in connection with "IMEXPRO", an international industrial fair being held there on these dates.

The mission would explore bilateral trade opportunities in sectors such as IT, drugs and pharmaceuticals, automobile and auto components, electricals, textiles, construction, tourism, food processing and healthcare.

The members of the mission would also participate in a series of business meetings organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and visit Kandy and Matale as well as the industrial units at Katunayake export zone, a CII release said on March 24.
