Bangalore: Sutra Info Solutions, a Bangalore-based Information Technology (IT)
company, has launched Sutra i Café, an extensive network of cyber cafés, that offers
a whole new Internet experience to the people, according to an official press
release.
Sutra i Café – a confluence of advanced technologies and means of leisure, offer a
gamut of services that are truly unprecedented. With Sutra i Cafés, Internet
browsing becomes very profitable, both in terms of time and money, the release said.
"Sutra i Café is special in the sense that it escapes from the stereotype by
offering Internet facility for longer surfing time at subsidised rates. With such an
offer, we intend to take Internet to the common masses and achieve the much-
cherished dream of bridging the digital divide. We are also looking forward to
coming up with our own Internet service provider (ISP) by early 2004," Ajay Saha,
chief executive officer (CEO) Sutra Info Solutions, said.
Sutra i Café offers a range of pre-paid cards of varying denomination and duration.
The people can avail the one-day, 10-day, two-month and three-month cards. The one-
day card at Rs 15 can be used for only one login and does not have a validity
period. The 10-day card, valid for a period of 10 days, permits seven logins. The
two-month card, valid for a period of two months, permits 15 logins. The three-month
card, valid for a period of three months, permits the subscriber to make 30 logins.
The café is open for 15 hours between 9.00 am and 12 midnight, the release said.
Sutra i Café also promises speedy connectivity and downloads, and a classy ambience
in its outlets. Besides, the availability of refreshments and beverages is another
unique feature of this Café, according to the release.
