Bangalore: Citrix Systems India on February 25 announced a tie-up with Wipro
Infotech, a leading Information Technology (IT) services company to be their first
solutions integrator (SI) in India.
As a solution provider, Wipro Infotech can either resell Citrix products stand-alone
or provide a total integrated solution to their end customers, Citrix Systems area
vice president-Asia Dennis Rose told reporters.
The SI channel would have a specific focus on the top 100 enterprise accounts and
was chosen on the basis of geographic coverage, overall revenue level, Citrix
support commitment and certification, he said.
"Given our focus on providing total IT solutions to the enterprise segment, this
extended relationship with Citrix will help us enhance value of our solutions to our
customers," Ishwar B Hemrajani, chief executive, technology products division, Wipro
Infotech said.
Rose said Citrix was open to having alliances with other Indian companies for system
integration.
Citrix already has over 600 customers in India and its revenue from India grew by
over 70 per cent during last year, Rose said.
Hemrajani said Wipro was providing engineering support services work for Citrix
Systems in the past year.
