Tuesday, January 21 2003 13:39 Hrs (IST)

Bangalore: India is on course to achieve 30 per cent growth in Information Technology (IT0 exports during 2002-03 as projected, and the National Association of Software and Services Companies is not looking at revising the figure, a top NASSCOM official said on January 21.

"We are sticking to the 30 per cent growth in exports. We are comfortable with it. Everything we have seen indicates to that," NASSCOM president Kiran Karnik said.

Describing the 30 per cent growth projection as a "realistic figure", Karnik said NASSCOM is not looking at revising it upwards or downwards.

"All the figures we have so far and talking to companies and customers, we are comfortable with 30 per cent growth projection," he said.

"Indications in the last nine months (April-December 2002) are that we are on track," Karnik added.
