Polaris mulls arbitration proceedings against Bank
Mumbai: Polaris Software Lab Ltd's board on December 30 recommended initiating 'arbitration proceedings' in Singapore to resolve the commercial disputes with Bank Artha Graha, an Indonesian Bank, whose complaint led to the detention of the company's chief executive officer (CEO) Arun Jain and another official in Indonesia recently.

HPCL leads the decline, SENSEX down by 23.03 pts
Mumbai: Oil major HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited), led the sharp decline in share values at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on December 30 on a fresh wave of selling that snapped a three-session rally and pushed the SENSEX down by 23.03 points to close at 3374.97 following the deferment of the decision to privatise HPCL and BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited).

SENSEX resumes lower on PSU counters' setback
Mumbai: The BSE-30 share sensitive index resumed lower at 3,389.12 from the previous close of 3,398.00 and dipped further to a low of 3366.46 before being quoted at 3,370.37 at 10.45 am (IST), on December 30.
