New Delhi: Nucleus Software Exports Limited got listed at the National Stock
Exchange (NSE) under the symbol NUCLEUS, according to an official press
release.
Nucleus had made its Initial Public Offer (IPO) in August 1995 and was listed in
November 1995 at the Stock Exchanges of Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur and Madras
with a capital of 3,401,400 shares.
To meet the fund requirements for expansion, the promoters and senior employees
subscribed to a preferential issue of 1,875,500 shares in June 2001 at Rs 103.15 per
share when the market price was around Rs 60, the release said.
For the first half of the financial year 2002-03 ending September 30, 2002, Nucleus
has reported 57 per cent growth in its revenues over the corresponding first half of
the last year. The company has paid dividends 4 times in the last two years, the
release added.
