New Delhi: The Supreme Court on December 16 allowed legal mining activities in the Aravali Hills in the states of Rajasthan and Haryana modifying its earlier total ban order.

The court, however, said all the mining leases granted after November 1999 in Haryana would remain suspended for the time being.
