Bangalore: Bank Muscat, which has been successful in the area of personal loans and car loans, is now getting into two-wheeler financing as well, according to an official press release.

Two-wheeler financing, which has already been launched in Bangalore and Mangalore, will soon be available in town like Hubli, Mysore, Coimbatore and Pune, the release said.

The bank will source business from the two-wheeler dealer counters, as well as take over existing two-wheeler loans through a 'loan transfer' product.

As per this programme any person with an existing two-wheeler loan from any bank can transfer it to Bank Muscat and thus save the substantial amount. The bank will take over the outstanding balance of the existing loan at a lower rate of interest, and also give a 'top up loan' equal to the instalments already paid back, the release added.
