Mumbai: A smart rally in select old economy shares helped SENSEX to resume slightly
better on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on November 29 following continued buying
by operators as well as retail investors.
However, select software counters were steady to firm in the absence of any advices
from Wall Street as New York stock market was closed on November 28.
The BSE-30 share sensitive index opened firm at 3,224.98 and moved up further to a
high of 3,245.98 before being quoted at 3,225.62 at 10.30 am (IST) as against the
November 28 close of 3,220.75.
