Bangalore: Wipro Infotech, the India, Asia Pacific and the Middle East IT division of $ 715 million Wipro Ltd, has received the prestigious gold certification from Cisco Limited, for "relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction, training, support and specialisation requirements" set by Cisco.

"The certification is also testimony to Wipro's expertise in implementing Cisco solutions in India," a Wipro release said.

The gold certification is a coveted recognition as several governments and large corporations across the globe require this as a mandatory certification as part of their "request for proposals", the release said.
