New Delhi: Microsoft chairman Bill Gates on November 12 said that `Tablet PC', an advanced wireless computing device mixing the functionality of a laptop and personal digital assistant, would be launched in India next month.

"The 'Tablet PC' which has been launched in the US, will be launched in India next month in collaboration with local partners," Gates told reporters.

The Tablet PC has been launched in US and a few other markets on November 7.
