Salem: Ten branches of the State Bank of India in Salem district will participate in a "loan mela" at Salem on November 9 and 10, whereby people could avail of money for construction and renovation of buildings.

SBI assistant general managers, S Narasimhan and Subash said in Salem that representatives of the branches would be present at the venue on these two days to help those who intended to avail of loans.

The officers from the legal, audit and revenue Departments would also be present at the venue, he said.
