Bangalore: Escosoft Technologies Limited, part of the global industrial conglomerate Escorts Group that provides the entire spectrum of information technology (IT) services, on October 14 announced the appointment of D J Dutta as their national sales head for India, according to an official press release.

Dutta is an MS with MMS (Master of Management Science) from BITS Pilani and has outstanding strengths in conceptualising and implementing new strategies and concepts, the release said.

Dutta has more than 16 years of experience in the IT industry and has functioned as the head of operations and profit centre head in many blue chip organisations including PARSEC Technologies, HFCL, Seimens Info Systems Limited, TCIL Bellsouth, TCS, Zenith Computers, S B Billamoria & Co.

Making this announcement, Aspy D Mehta, chief executive officer (CEO), Escosoft Technologies Limited said, "we are delighted to have someone of Dutta's experience to spearhead our national sales team, specially at a time when the company is fast emerging and gaining ground in the core areas of its business".
