FDI inflows up 26 pc at $ 2.85 bn during Jan-Aug

New Delhi: Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows registered an impressive growth of over 26 per cent during the first eight months of the year at $ 2.85 billion.

Inflows during the corresponding period last year were placed at $ 2.25 billion excluding ADR\GDR flows, an official release said.

India received $ 1.64 billion during April-August as compared to $ 1.53 billion in the same period last year thus showing a near seven per cent growth.
