Bangalore: Infosys Technologies Limited on August 28 announced that it had held its
annual analyst meet at its campus in Bangalore. The theme of the analyst meet
was "Living up to the promise". Over 85 analysts and fund managers from all over
India attended the meet, according to an official press release.
Nandan M Nilekani, chief executive officer, president, managing director; S
Gopalakrishnan, chief operating officer, deputy managing director; and T V Mohandas
Pai, chief finance officer, director (finance and administration) delivered the
theme address.
"We have kept up promises that we had made in the past to our various stakeholders.
The global delivery model is one of the sources of our competitive strength. Today,
offshore has become the mainstream for delivering technology enabled business
solutions and we see a lot of opportunities for companies like Infosys," Nilekani,
speaking on the theme said.
Various functional practice units at Infosys made presentations during the meet.
These included sales and marketing, delivery (including new services such as IT
outsourcing and systems integration), domain competency group, SETlabs and Progeon,
Infosys’ business process management subsidiary.
