Chennai: Global Business Technology Services Pvt Ltd (GBTS), headquartered in Chennai, has come out with a personalised cheque-book printing solution, "clickcheque", a software developed exclusively for banks.

"Clickcheque brings about a paradigm shift from pre-printed stationary to pre- designed electronic templates and in the process offering the banks futuristic technology," N Gopalakrishnan, director and chief executive officer (CEO) of the company said while launching the software on August 5.

The advantages of clickcheque, he said, included printing cheques on demand, customisation by branches, multi-lingual support, and additional security through inclusion of account number in code and provision to print even loose leaves.

He said the company had very recently got the ISO 9001:2000 certification for "design, development, implementation and maintenance of its solutions and services for the insurance and financial services domains".
