Bangalore: Nucleus Software Exports Ltd, recorded a growth in revenue for the first
quarter ending June 30.The revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 22.53 crore in
comparison to the previous quarter at Rs 16.75 crore, according to an official press
release.
The company has added six new clients this quarter, taking the total number of
clients to 60. The company has also grown in terms of employees, with a total
strength of 720, the release said.
"The first quarter of fiscal 2002 has been vibrant for the company. Despite the
tough market conditions, we have made significant customer acquisitions for our
products," managing director Vishnu Dusad said.
Speaking on the company's strategy and growth plans, he added, "The growth
figures reflect the success of our strategy to remain focused on the
products area of financial services vertical segment, entering new markets”.
The company recorded a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 1.52 crore, for the first
quarter, while the group revenue went up by 34 per cent, the release said.
