Bangalore: Jubilant Organosys Limited (formerly Vam Organic Chemicals Limited), announced on July 8 that its manufacturing plant located at Nira, near Pune, has been awarded ISO 14001 certification for manufacture and supply of a complete range of products produced at the plant. After Jubilant's plant at Gajraula, the Nira plant is the only other ‘distillery’ granted ISO 14001 certification in India so far.

Bangalore: Kinetic BOSS has been rated as the best "value for money" motorcycle in India in a 1200 km detailed road test. Kinetic's 100 CC four-stroke bike was among the six bikes selected for the road test, according to an official press release.

Minister Verma rules out lowering of interest on EPF
New Delhi: Rejecting Finance Ministry's recommendations, Labour Minister Sahib Singh Verma on July 9 said the rate of interest on Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) would not be lowered from the present 9.5 per cent to nine per cent.
