Bangalore: German airlines Lufthansa has announced a “Summer Online Bonus Miles Promotion” (SOBMP) for its customers in the Asia-Pacific region, according to an official press release. Indian customers, booking and buying tickets online at www.lufthansa-india.com and those who travel during the period July 1 to November 30 this year, would earn 2,500, 1,500 and 1,000 bonus miles per segment for travel in first, business and economy class respectively. All new customers enrolling online get an additional 2,000 bonus miles for enrolment to the popular "Frequent Flyer Miles & More Programme". Customers would have to register online to participate in the SOBMP and also other promotional activities on the Lufthansa India Website, the release added.
