Infosys ties up with consulting firm Concours Group

Bangalore: Indian headquartered Infosys Technologies Ltd has on June 24 announced an alliance with the Concours Group, a boutique strategy consulting firm, according an official press release from Fremont, California.

With the alliance, both the companies would share expertise and resources to help Global 1,000 companies to define, design and implement-large scale change programmes for yielding significant business impact through technology, the release said.

Infosys’ strength in business consulting and larger-scale IT implementations combined with Concours’ experience in business model innovation and organisational design would create a capability set that will significantly help clients to execute their enterprisewide programmes, the release said.

The two companies would also carry out joint research and thought leadership programmes to maximise the business impact of technology investments, the release added.

Speaking on the alliance, Phaneesh Murthy, member of the board at Infosys, said, “Concours brings a lot to the table in structuring and sequencing large change programmes We will leverage their competency with Infosys’ proven processes and the combined IT consulting capabilities to deliver tangible results for clients.”

Dr Ron Christman, founder and chief of Concours Group, said that they are excited to be partners with Infosys to help clients capture value from big projects.
