Bangalore: Bangalore-headquartered Yokogawa Blue Star Limited (YBL), a leading process automation company, has introduced an Environmental Diagnostic Tool in India, for users of Yokogawa's Process Control Solution.

"This diagnostic tool facilitates designing a good protection for the electronic system used in the process control solutions from the punishing environmental conditions they are exposed to, thus increasing the life cycle of the equipment besides minimising the risk of loss of production and others," a company release said on June 11.

The tool facilitates identifying the components and sub-assemblies that need a restoration closest to the designed conditions so that the remaining life of the electronic system is maximised. It also leads to identifying the set of components and sub-assemblies that need to be replaced as belonging to the category of components with limited life-cycle, the release said.
