Chennai: TVS Electronics Ltd, a leading manufacturer of computer peripherals and Tech Pacific India, have entered into a tie up for marketing the former's products, mainly dot matrix printers, in the domestic market.

The partnership is expected to increase the market reach of TVSE and expand Tech Pacific's share of the dot matrix printers market in India.Under the association, Tech pacific will also distribute TVSE key boards and consumables like print heads and ribbons.

"This partnership with the leading brand in the dot matrix market will help consolidate and strengthen our market share in the peripheral's business, " said Vice-President, Marketing, Tech Pacific, Mohapatra.

Tech pacific currently has a sales of over Rs 170 crore and has agreements with at least 34 leading global IT hardware and software vendors. According to Srini Nageshwar, Director, TVSE, the tie-up is expected to enhance the company's penetration, cutting across the digital and economic divide.
