Bangalore: City-based Megabowl Private Limited, operating in the recreation and
entertainment space, plans to open Family Entertainment Centres (FECs) in Hyderabad,
Delhi and Chennai, and an additional one in Bangalore in the next financial year at
estimated cost of more than Rs 12 crore, a top company official said.
Megabowl at present has FECs in Bangalore, Mangalore, Jaipur, Kolkata and Kochi,
according to the company's Managing Director, Sanjay Chabbra, said.
Speaking to reporters, Chabbra said the Hyderabad FECs would start functioning from
mid-April, followed by the other the three centres.
He said the company, a leader in family entertainment, is eying a turnover of Rs 10
crore in 2002-03.
To a question, he said Rs 3 crore to Rs 4 crore is needed to set up each of the four
new centres.
