Bangalore: Lineo, of embedded operating system software and host development environments on March 11 announced its plans to launch its operations in India.

Lineo's operations in India will be headed by Ajay Kapoor, Country Manager who will be based in Bangalore.

Speaking on the occasion of the launch in Bangalore, Richard Larsen, Senior Vice President, Sales and Services, Lineo, Inc. said, "Our new presence in India coincides with great growth in the embedded systems market worldwide. We will leverage our presence in India to help customers and partners build smarter embedded solutions around the world."
